The Research Center for Studies of Food Quality and Agricultural Products of UASVM Bucharest is a newly developed research infrastructure emerged to ensure a good quality control of agricultural and food products throughout the production flow, to promote environmental protection, as well as a higher quality of food products for consumer needs and expectations. This research center currently employs more than 20 researchers and PhD students working in agri­food systems, who work in all 13 laboratories on projects related to different aspects of quality and technologies for food products. The laboratory of physicochemical analysis, the laboratory of sensorial analysis and other laboratories of this research center will contribute greatly to the project due to their modern research facilities: more than 200 equipments for research in quality control of agricultural and food products ( ).
